Toss Report: MI vs KKR

Toss Report: MI vs KKR
Mumbai: Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Sourav Ganguly has won the toss and elected to bat against Mumbai Indians at the Brabourne Stadium on Monday.

Ganguly called correctly and instantly made his decision known. ``It looks like a good deck. It might to do a bit later on. It is important to have runs on the board. We have lost two games, but there is a long way to go in the tournament,'' he said.

Chris Gayle will finally play in the tournament. He will replace Brad Hodge. Also sitting out is Manoj Tiwary, who makes way for Harpreet Singh. ``It's really unfortunate that we have to leave out Brad Hodge because he has done really well for us. But we can only play four overseas players,'' Ganguly told commentator Pommie Mbangwa at the toss.

Mumbai Indians captain Sachin Tendulkar was happy to bowl first. ``We would have bowled first,'' he said. The Mumbai Indians have made a couple of changes to their playing XI as well. Sanath Jayasuriya has been rested and Ryan McLaren has been included. Also playing in place of an injured Ambati Rayudu is Shikhar Dhawan.

``I am very happy with the depth in my squad. We have some real talent on the bench. Unfortunately only 11 can play,'' said Tendulkar while chatting with commentator Michael Kasprowicz.
