Deccan Chargers are at full strength - their bowling attack has been bolstered with the arrival of Kemar Roach. Having defeated Chennai away from home, they would look to use the home advantage and continue with their winning ways.
Adrian Barath has joined a Kings XI side which is looking to break its jinx, and now would be a fine time for Barath to prove his credentials.
What next?
Last year’s champions would want to add another victory to their pocket by making the most of the home advantage. A victory could see them reach the top half of the table, and if their win is a comprehensive one, they could displace the Mumbai Indians from the first spot.
KXIP would want to register a win against their name after having been routed in their previous encounters. They would look to Adrian Barath for some inspiration, and in the absence of Brett Lee, Shaun Marsh and James Hopes, they have their work cut out.
