Toss Report: RR vs CSK

Ahmedabad: Shane Warne won the toss and elected to set the target for the visiting Chennai Super Kings to chase on a good Motera track.

Talking at the coin toss, Rajasthan Royals’ captain said his team would bowl first because they had won 9 out of 10 games at home and they knew the conditions better than their opponents. “We hope to make it difficult for CSK. It’s a good wicket and we hope to put up a big score - 165-170 is a good score on this pitch,” he added.

The Royals go into the match without any changes to their squad

Visiting captain MS Dhoni echoed his counterpart’s view and said he too would have batted first on this pitch. He said, “It’s a bit hotter than usual, on and off the field. We know what mistakes we have made and we will improve on them.”

On his batting position, he said, “[Suresh] Raina and [Matthew] Hayden are batting well. We need to concentrate on the lower middle order, therefore I am coming lower down the order.”
